24/7 – Mobile Tyre Repair
Tyre Repairs & Puncture Repair
Repairing a tyre is not always as straightforward as it may initially appear. Before any repair is attempted, the tyre must be thoroughly inspected for damage. A tyre should not be repaired under any of the following circumstances: if the tread depth is below the legal minimum of 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tread throughout its entire circumference.
If there is secondary damage caused by the object that punctured the tyre, if the tyre rubber shows signs of ageing or deterioration, if there is bead damage, if any cords are exposed, or if there is evidence of previous faulty or substandard repairs.
Thorough inspection is essential prior to any repair work. If there is any doubt whatsoever regarding the suitability of a tyre for repair, it is strongly advised that the repair should not be carried out.

How to Read Your Tyre Size

55 – The aspect ratio, showing the height as a percentage of the tyre’s width
R18 – The diameter of the wheel in inches that the tyre fits
91 – The load index, indicating how much weight the tyre can support
V – The speed rating, showing the maximum speed the tyre can safely handle
